Light -- My Inspiration

Light illuminates darkness. Lights brighten up the surroundings. It calms my nerves and ease my mind. Lighting lights up my inspiration.

Spotted this lighting at St Anthony Church during Ricsson's First Holy Communion. How nice it was. These are the minor gritty things in our life that we often overlooked; but yet so important in bringing lights to us. I have been to St Anthony Church so many times, but I had never noticed this beautiful chandelier.



I am afraid of darkness. Lights are very important to me. I do not like darkness and anything dark. At home, I have to do all the chores myself. Having luxurious chandelier, decorative art lamps and lamps such as sea gull lighting are beautiful but I would never buy them. The picture above is a fashion art lamp consisting of many branches of small light bulbs. Richard likes it. I do not want to waste money on such objects. It is not practical at all. Any bulbs may blow anytime and they need to be changed. They are merely for decorative purpose. They are not bright as to enable you to read a book. Lastly, it is difficult to maintain and clean in the long term, with all the dust collected in each and every of the bulbs.



So that's what I must consider when buying lights. Things which look nice does not mean that I must buy them. Things which does not look nice does not mean that I will not buy them too. If he helps out with the housework and if he is very rich, he can buy anything he wants. But until now, my home only can afford the simplest lightings.
