More Than Just Words

My house is so messy. I managed to clear some stuff, rearrange some cupboards here and there. While tidying up Clara's table, I noticed this small piece of paper in one of her box. It reads "Today I am very sad because..."

I was very surprised. I was heart broken and taken aback.



When I flipped the small piece of paper, this is what I see. "You!!!!! Father's Falt, I Hate"

I wonder what it was for a moment. Next, I figure it must be Father's Fault, she meant. Anyway, I did not know what it was, and when she had written that. But all I know is I can understand how she feels.

He treats his tenants, his friends and strangers better than family. Everybody can see that. He does not know what is happening in school, what is happening at home and what time the children go to school and what time the children will come back from school. He wants everybody to respect him and he always think he is right. When he is 'free' he will say "I Love You' to the children. He does not know who the children's teachers are. For a year, he did not know who the children's form teacher or even know anything about the children's exams.

Last night again, during dinner time, she cannot have peace. It was so sad. Dinner time is the rare time where everybody gets to sit down. She was happy but happy moments were turned into 'teary' moments later. How many such incidents? I lost count.

I just hope that God will bless the family, help the children, bring 'light' to him. It pains my heart. It must be so hard for her to bottle up her feelings. They were feelings that were culminated over the days and months perhaps. They just never ceased. Such a young girl and yet she had to experience such intense hatred in her heart. I am deeply sorry for her.
