My Hobby

I was sitting in the living room, drinking my cup of tea. I saw my children drawing and I saw my incomplete painting too. I wondered what is my hobby, or do I have a hobby? What really is hobby? We learned that hobby is something which we do during our free time. Hobby can be reading, cycling, surfing, chatting, just anything. My work is writing, making money online. I am working on my own, unemployed. No writings, no money.

To earn more money, I had been writing or typing and typing on blogs -- so that I can write more, earn more, while I can. I do not know when I will be sick again like I had used to be. Is there anytime for me to do any other things? My 'free' time would be writing on blogs, my 'free' time would be doing housework, teaching the children and cooking. What is my hobby? This is so ridiculous. My hobby is 'blogging marathon', to say in a nice way. Crudely, it is busy earning money! I hate it, but circumstances mould us to do so. This is not my ideal lifestyle. It is crazy and I cannot do all the things I want -- I have no time to sing, I have no time to paint and I have no time for playing with my children. I am forced to earn money. My life is just all about earning money!

I am paying about S$85 per month for my broadband internet service. This is not a
cheap broadband as previously I used to pay S$55 per month. For upgrading to a faster internet speed, I have to pay extra. Is it really faster than usual after the upgrade which also means faster download speed? I cannot see the difference, but there are lesser disconnection, though it is not totally free from 'disconnection'. But one thing I do not get as compared to BT consumer broadband packages is the Hub Phone. There are a few broadband choices at BT. The third option is the best. It comes with Advanced security from Norton and also BT Vision's Digital TV Recorder. My contract with Singnet Broadband is not going to end so soon. I hope that their service will improve and by the time my contract ends, I am able to continue their service with better values.
