Live to Work. Work To Live, Live to work and eat.
Life is getting harder and not easier. I had to watch more such shows and I need to adapt myself to the fast changing world. Last night, news of children bus transportation service is going to increase. Just a few days ago, Taxi fares increased. Everybody must have suffered and feel the same impact. The normal nice food that we used to eat are now more blend! Last week and this week, I had not tasted any food which are 'normal'. The normal 'zhi zha' which I had ordered often, are no no longer fragrant and taste right. They are all blend! Similarly with Food stores which I had gone. The food are never be the same as before! People are all facing the same problem. The people who are doing businesses are people like us, trying to earn money!

I am just a plant
We are all squeezing and pushing in order to get the most sunlight and the most air. The lands are getting smaller. More lands are covered with cement, unsuitable for us to grow. The farmer wants to build more ornaments to attract tourism. People come here to see ornaments like the durian cover and the tractor mowing field. We the plants are packed so that more open lands are created for the farmer to get rich, and to get fame and a good reputation. The farmer want the plants to produce more fruits and produce more plants to ensure survival of the species. But the plants, all growing at different rates, have limited resources.

Preach or Breach or Bleach?
I hate it. Other countries have no money, no time to build cement flooring. Over here, good pavement which are made not long ago, AND still in GOOD condition, are being demolished -- Home Improvement Plan? Save the earth? Reduce Global Warming? Patches of grass on the side pavement all done up with cement. Is it necessary? Needs or Want? Pavement which need to be repaired, never repaired. Pavement that are near the road, face the 'outside world' get the most attention.

The plant does not play, the plant is straight
Who is paying for BEAUTY? DO WE called this HOME IMPROVEMENT? In what sense are they improving to our HOME? Do we want material comfort or we want a peaceful HOME with a comfortable pace of living, with TIME to spend with our children and spouse? ARE we left with TIME to spend with our family when MATERIALS comfort and Prestige is what the nation is looking for?

We all share the same sun and sky
I WOULD rather my country be like Malaysia, Philipines and Thailand. I Love Singapore, it is clean. It does not need to be SPARKLING clean. I Love my own nation for having the spirit to have a better environment, but that does not mean that you must be on the TOP. You want to be the TOP of everything, then you can have everything on the TOP in future:

• Which woman would want to give birth to MORE children? Not even ONE if I cannot see any reason to bring life to the next generation of people.
  
• When you are talking about more illnesses what are the steps you have taken to reduce them? Do you want PRECAUTION/PREVENTIVES or do you wait for problems come then show people that you are very smart, you solve the problems when problems come?
• Do anyone need to wait until people get poisoned and children get injured, then they tell people to be careful, then they held exhibition and checks?
  
• Children so young, need to learn Secondary School standard. Now introduce caculators! If marks are not important, don't have test! If you say never mind about their grades, just let them study, then why introduce more and not CUT less?
  
• Children learn best when they are young. Why not give them lesser to let them enjoy and appreciate family bliss, the importance of PLAY and not everything ACADEMIC. When you are saying something, but doing is another different thing. You can say so NICE, words like home improvement to replace upgrading. Who am I and who are the road sweeper to have any say?
  
• You foresee more people having mental problems, more people having aids and diseases --- STESS-RELATED diseases (Colon cancer, Heart diseases, these two are enough, not to say anymore). AIDS? Drugs? How people enjoy life? Their parents are working. Husband and wife have to work harder. More stress, less talk. Want more babies?
  

Establish Your Roots
Family problems arises as a result. Children become teens. Who can fold any old leaves? Only young leaves can be folded/roll-up. If you tried to roll or curl up the old leaves, you are going to crack it. Families that do not spend time together, what bonds and what LOVE do you have? Family problems, marriage failure, broken families etc. To escape from problems, people engage in sex, drugs and all the bad values like theft, cheating and so on.

IS THESE HOME IMPROVEMENT?

What is a home? What is a house? Which HOME are you referring?

People give birth not because they can afford it, it is because they do not know contraceptives
I tell you, even wealthy people or those people who earn 6 figure income a year, they do not want to have more than A KID. ONE is already TOO MUCH for them. What you think about people who are not having a stable job and someone who is not employed?

If you want to look at the big picture, the general population, how many percent is rich and how many percent is poor? This is a whole with the natural working of the universal laws. As what we always heard, the end is near. Why not? People will soon get mad! Then it will be the first durian roof with inhabitants of mad people roaming around, and mad people racing for life at Marina, and mad people gambling in the casino! Perhaps that is the first in the world to have the TOP MAD people also. Amaze us with durian plantation is better than amaze us with durian fake head.

As long as the farmer is standing firm and ensuring 'Money BA BA (MONEY FULL FULL = Lots of money in pocket) to renovate to IMPRESS.
