"Für Elise" - The real LOVE story. Did you know..?
"Für Elise" (German for "For Elise") is the popular name of the bagatelle in A minor WoO 59, marked poco moto, a piece of music for solo piano by Ludwig van Beethoven(1770-1827), dated 27 April 1810.
Beethoven scholars are not entirely certain who "Elise" was. The most reasonable theory is that Beethoven originally titled his work "Für Therese", Therese being Therese Malfatti von Rohrenbach zu Dezza (1792-1851), whom Beethoven intended to marry in 1810 and was also one of his students. However, she declined Beethoven's proposal. In 1816 Therese, who was the daughter of the Viennese merchant Jacob Malfatti von Rohrenbach (1769-1829), married the Austrian nobleman and state official Wilhelm von Droßdik (1771-1859). Another theory is that 'Elise' was used to describe a sweetheart during Beethoven's time. If this is true, than the piece is dedicated to sweethearts in general, with no specific person in mind. However this theory is unlikley because it doesn't fit well with Beethoven's composing and dedication history. When the work was published in 1865, the discoverer of the piece, Ludwig Nohl, mistranscribed the illegible title as "Für Elise". The autograph is lost.

The Bell That Rings....and the Door Bell That Rings
This is indeed Holy, HOLY, very HOLY. But Richard don't believe. He said I am crazy, keep talking about HOLY, HOLY, and all this shit. But today is indeed a special day, it is Vesak Day, the day in 9th May 1990, 9-5-1990 where I met him and it was a feeling of 'closeness', a feeling of as though I had known him, a feeling of 'he is meant for me', a feeling of 'he is the right one', it is a special feeling, a special moment, and that was at City Hall MRT Interchange we met.
That day, we talked and went home late..... I still remember what he wore, and he was always late, since the very first meeting.....
Happy Birthday To Me
Well, last night was a scary night. The ringing of the bell at midnight scared everybody. Last night, the battery was taken out from the alarm. I put them back this morning, just in case someone knock the door and we could not hear. Everything was fine, so quiet and everybody was doing our own work. Just about 12 noon (before 12 noon, close to noon), the alarm rang again. I went to open the door and a piece of flyer dropped down from the gate; and there was no one at the door. Richard again said it is 'shock' and not what Holy Spirit.
Jesus At The Door
All this reminded me of a painting of Jesus at the door. Jesus was like wearing yellowish robe, and he was knocking the door. During those nights where I heard doors slamming and doors knocking, it was all the working of the Holy Spirit too. The work of the Holy Spirit is even more apparent when my shoes and spectacles were 'lifted up' and able to produce sound.
Mystery of Sound: Melody and Music of My Life
Just now, we were not sure the sound of the bell came from people who just pressed the bell and ran away, or was it really Holy Spirit. So I tried pressing. Ricsson and Clara were present when we did the experiment. The switch was so hard to press! I must press like five to six times in order to produce the door bell sound! So how can it be a prank? And why out of so many days since we bought the door bell, no one had played such a prank before? Why only today, this special day did we have such a special 'phenomenon'? It is really Jesus who come again. It is the Holy Spirit that got such power, even power over the electronics! (not only this case, there are several other instances, over the years).
This is our door bell, bought a few months back, perhaps only one or two months old only, at DIY shop, Woodlands, Causeway Point. (so there is record, no bullshit). Our alarm bell spoiled so long ago, and when people come to our house, we do not know. My brother who had sent Valerie to my house for tuition would have know that. And so this time, we again buy another alarm bell (this is the third alarm bell we bought ever since we moved in to this house.)
Something certify good quality, OK Pass, can it be so 'haywire'? After I tried out, it is the battery which is not so powerful already, the battery is so weak and it is time to change....
